BITTER
SWEET NEWS
|
Well wishes from EFL teams to Central Park International |
|
|
Dear Friends First, The bitter news... Central Park International (CPI) who is a core member of EFL, participant in EFL Cup and participant in EFL Challenge Trophy aka The Champions League has withdrawn from our Cup Competition. The sweet news is that their application into the FAS Islandwide Division has been accepted!!! CPI got the confirmation from FAS on 15th September'08. The competition plays on Wenesdays, Saturdays and Sundays so it is impossible for them to participate in our Cup Competition. The FAS Islandwide may be 4 rungs below the S-League but it's a positive first step forward. To be accepted into FAS competitions, a club will undergo stringent assessment on their Management, quality, book-keeping and finances. Chairman of Central Park International is Zulkifli M Dali, who like all of us, is a total die-hard football fanatic. CPI was founded on May 2003 and was recorded into the Singapore Registry Of Societies on 7th July 2004. Under the astute management and command & control of Zulkifli M Dali, CPI has evolved from 'kampong boys team' to a renowned and well respected team. They are a good example and thus a role model for EFL. EFL wishes CPI the best of luck and hope that they will progress into the S-League in the near future. We will be rooting for you and don't forget to update us on your schedule/fixtures/results. It's quite a tall standing order of one so new to play against those teams but our love and best wishes is with you. Thank you. Eugene Wee |

Hi bro.. |
Good luck in the dizzy heights of the FAS ID
Central Park....!! |

On behalf of St Andrews FC please accept our heartfelt congratulations on your great success. As Eugene says it is pleasing to hear of the progress your club has made in such a relatively short period of time. You are indeed a role model to other EFL teams. I am sure that there has been a lot of commitment and effort from an awful lot of people to get you where you are, you are now seeing the rewards of this effort. Make sure that you and your team enjoy the experiences that your efforts have brought you. As someone who has played football, loved football & supported my teams with a passion (Rangers & Scotland) all over the world and all of my life I can appreciate the pleasure that this must give you. Congratulations again from all at St Andrews and we look forward to seeing you guys on TV soon. Regards Gavin Aitken |
